What's troubling your knee?

Start with what you're experiencing. Each page explains the problem, your options with and without surgery, and what recovery looks like.

I've injured my knee

Twisting injuries, a knee that gives way, locking or swelling after sport.

My kneecap hurts or slips

Pain at the front of the knee, or a kneecap that dislocates or feels unstable.

I have knee arthritis

Pain, stiffness and wear that is limiting walking, sleep or daily life.

My approach

"Surgery is not always the answer. When it is, my philosophy is to treat only the damaged part of your knee and keep as much of your own joint as possible."
